The Open University
I would like to thank members of Get on Board for all their involvement in social work education at the Open University. This has included involvement in interviewing candidates to come on to the BA and MA social work programmes. Involvement has also included running two workshops at the MA residential weekend. Feedback from students highlights how important it is to learn from people’s experiences. We really value the way in which working with members of Get on Board has enhanced student’s experiences and we look forward to continuing to build on this in the future - Helen
2019 Get On Board Conference
What a fabulous day we had, and what great efforts were put in to deliver a conference which was friendly to all. My attendance today will aid me with setting up keeping safe packs for the 3 new supported living flats we are due to open shortly. Thank you all once again for a fantastic and informative day.
This has been my first conference as I am out of county and enjoyed everything, especially the acting!
Amazing, blown away. Such a simple but powerful performance. Came away feeling more empowered and determined to do the best for students and adults with disabilities.
Great service user involvement, loved the drama at the start. Great organisation, well done Mike and all the Get On Board team. Lovely venue and food too!

I didn't know about cuckooing until today
Brilliant sense of equality in terms of speakers/participants. Great venue, lovely food
